Polina Sedova

Biography

Polina Sedova is currently a 3rd year student at the Nizhny Novgorod Music College (College) named after I. M. A. Balakireva, class A. N. Bogdanovich.

During this time she took part in many national and international competitions:
- laureate 2 degree of Regional competition for young pianists in Nizhny Novgorod region "Winter rainbow" (Nizhny Novgorod, 2018);
- winner of 1 degree of V all-Russian competition for young pianists named after M. A. Balakirev (Sarov, 2018);
- winner of 1 degree of International music Olympiad "Music pedagogy and performance" (Nizhny Novgorod, 2018);
- winner of 3 awards of the contest all-Russian contest of young musicians "the Path to mastery" (Kazan, 2018);
- winner of the VII International competition of pianists in the memory of Vera Lotar-Shevchenko (Ekaterinburg, 2018);
-  winner of 4 prizes at the VIII Open All-Russian Competition of Young Piano Performers "Merzlyakovka invites friends" (Moscow, 2019);
-  participated in the III International Piano Competition of Vladimir Krainev (Moscow, 2019);
- Grand Prix and special prize for the best performance of a Beethoven composition at the IX International Open Festival-Competition of Young Musicians "VIVAT-MUSICA" (Moscow, 2020);
-  3rd prize at the All-Russian Competition-Festival "Golden Talents of Russia" (Moscow, 2020);
-  1st prize of the All-Russian competition "Young Talents of Russia"(Moscow, 2020);
-  3rd prize of Lev Vlassenko International Internet Piano Competition (2021).

In the 2018-2019 season she took part in concerts of the International Youth Symphony Orchestra.
