Biography

Georgios was born in 2003 in Greece. At the age of 4, he received his first violin lessons at the Central Music School at the P. I. Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory where he studied.
He has taken part in a lot of festivals and competitions.
Namely, he was the winner of the IV (fourth) Governor’s International Gavrilin Youth Contest in Vologda in 2016 (twenty sixteen) where he won the first prize, and the International Arthur Grumiaux Competition for Young Violinists in Belgium in 2016 (twenty sixteen), where he won the third prize, which he was honoured to receive from princess Esmeralda.
Also, he participated in the Vladimir Spivakov International Festival ‘Moscow Meets Friends. And he took an active part in a number of master classes, namely with Leonidas Kavakos in Athens in 2017 (twenty seventeen), maestro Eduard Grach in Porto Heli in Greece in 2018, and with Christoph Barati and David Grimal as part of the “AUER. HERITAGE" 2nd (second) International Violin festival-competition in Saint Petersburg in 2019.
At the age of 13 he performed at the Great hall of Moscow State Conservatory with the Moscow Symphony Orchestra conducted by Dmitry Orlov. He also has given solo performances at important concert halls and festivals in Russia and in Europe.
Georgios is currently studying with Boris Belkin at the Conservatorium Maastricht.
