Biography

Leonardo Giulianelli was born in Senigallia (Italy) on 9 February 2002. He began piano lessons when he was five and entered the Rossini Conservatory in Pesaro (Italy) at the age of ten to follow the pre-college course. He currently attends the third year of the First level academic course (First Cycle QF-EHEA – Level 6 EQF) at the Rossini Conservatory, studying with Master Andrea Turini.

He participated in the Masterclass of musical interpretation for solo piano, organized by the “Associazione Musicale delle Giudicarie Tione of Trento” for the last 5 editions, in which he was a student of the Masters Humberto Quagliata, Manuel Tévar, Alberto Dalgo, Maria Grazia Petrali and Andrea Turini. He also participated in the XIV edition of the piano masterclass organized by the association “Campus delle Arti” in Bassano del Grappa where he studied with Masters Sanna Vaarni and Cecilia Grillo.

In February 2018, July 2019 and October 2020, he played as a soloist at three of the concerts of the Festival of Classical Music in San Giovanni Valdarno (Arezzo, Italy).

On 2 June 2019 he won first prize of the XVII edition of the International Competition for Young Musicians "Luigi Zanuccoli" in Sogliano al Rubicone (FC, Italy) organized by the musical association “ClassicAllMusic”.

On 25 August 2019 he won first prize in the 2nd Valdaone music interpretation competition.

On 12 January 2020 he won first prize in the International Competition “2020 Golden Classical Music Awards” in New York.
