Tai-Ling Chi

Biography

Tai-Ling won 3 consecutive times the “DAAD” prize (German Exchange Academic Service) and she received the prize of the “Sparda-Bank-Stiftung” 2014 and the “Bayerisches Staatsministerium für Bildung und Kultus Wissenschaft und Kunst” 2015.

During her studies she has been a student from Prof. Ida Bieler, Prof. Reto Kuppel and David Grimal. In 2018, she got the Konzertexamen degree with the Prof. Joshua Epstein in the “Hochschule für Musik Saar” in Germany.

She had performed as concertmaster in the National Youth Orchestra of The Netherlands and in Kammeroper Köln. She performed at countless events, among them: Berlin Philharmonic Hall, Zürich Opera House, Vienna Golden Hall, Royal Amsterdam Hall, etc.

Due to her great performance on the stage, her special and particular vision of music, she had the opportunity to play multiple times in chamber music concerts with the violinist Fedor Rudin and the cellist Wen-Sinn Yang.

Currently, she plays at Klaipeda State Music Theater (Lithuania) as first violin. She is also an active member of the spanish "Ensemble San Pablo", holding concerts and master classes on different international music festivals around Europe and Asia.
