Dariia Ahapova

Biography

Dariia Ahapova, born on 17th of January 2002. At the age of 7 she began her studying at the Kyiv Music School no. 4 named after Dmitry Shostakovich in a harp class of Diana Korchynska where she received her basic education. In 2017 has started her studying in the Kharkiv Special Secondary Music School as a harpist in a class of Larysa Klievtsova. During those years as a soloist took part in many national and international competitions such as

Right after school graduation in 2019 was accepted to the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg, Germany, for a bachelor degree at the age of 17, where she has been studying with professor Xavier de Maistre. During studying in Germany took part in many orchestra projects including a concert with Symphoniker Hamburg in Laeiszhalle. As a soloist took part in concerts both in school and outside. Was interviewed by Jana Bouskova on her The Harp Channel. Had masterclasses with Veronika Lemishenko, Alina Bzhezhinska, Elisabeth Plank, Chantal Mathieu, Jasmin Isabel-Kühne, Merve Kocabeyler and Catherine Michel.
