Mihaela Mitrofan

Biography

Mihaela Mitrofan is a young violinist born in Bucharest, Romania. She is currently 21 years old and she is studying Violin with Professor Ioana Croitoru, in her 2nd year of studies at the National University of Music in Bucharest.

Mihaela belongs to a musical family of 5 sisters and parents, all playing instruments. From an early age she started playing violin with her beloved Professor Olivia Papa at the"George Enescu" National College of Music in Bucharest and achieved many national and international prizes since. Just mentioning the Grand Prize of Rovere d'Oro International competition for young artists in San Bartolomeo al Mare - Italy in 2019, and the Grand Prize at "Dan Cumpãtã" National Competition in 2020 with her chamber music ansamble.
