Daniil Bulayev

Biography

Daniil Bulayev was born on 16 of April 2004 in Riga (Latvia).

Daniil is a current student of Petru Munteanu (Leopold Mozart Centrum,Germany) and Nelly Sarkisyan (Emil Darzin Music School, Latvia).

Daniil has taken masterclasses from Pierre Amoyal, Pavel Vernikov, Ivry Gitlis, Maxim Vengerov, Vera Tsu Weiling, Sergey Khachatryan, Brian Lewis, Karen Aroutiounian, Jaqueline Ross, Jurgis Dvarionas, Boris Garlitsky, Hong Wang, Felix Andrievsky.

Active participant in Kronberg Academy International violin masterclasses 2019.

Daniil has appeared as a soloist with orchestras, collaborated with the Stuttgart Chamber Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra „Glasperlenspiel Simfonietta”, Chamber Orchestra „Kremerata Baltica”, Chamber Orchestra “Moscow Virtuosi”, the Russian Virtuosi of Europe (chamber orchestra), Sinfonietta Riga (chamber orchestra), Salzburg Chamber Soloists, Archi De Sono orchestra da camera, La Mitteleuropa Orchestra, Liepāja Symphony Orchestra, Latvian National Symphony Orchestra, Latvian National Opera Orchestra, Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra, Tatarstan State Symphony Orchestra, Armenian National Symphony and Chamber Orchestras, Macao Orchestra and the others.

IX International Balys Dvarionas competition for young pianists and violinists, 2012, Lithuania, Grand Prix
IX International competition for Young Musicians in the Category “String Instruments” in Moscow, November, 2012 (1st prize)
Latvian National competition for Young Musicians in the Category “String Instruments”, 2014 (1st prize) and 2018 (1st prize)

When he was 5 years old Daniil performed with the Chamber Orchestra in the Concert Hall AVE SOL in Riga (Latvia). Two years later, when he was 7 y.o. he performed with the Symphony Orchestra in Russia. At the age of 8 y.o. Daniil gave his first recital at the Central Music School (College) of the Moscow P.I.Tchaikovsky Conservatory Concert Hall.

Since 2013 Daniil annually gives his violin recitals and has been invited as a soloist to participate in numerous festivals.
