Biography

Pei-Ying Lee was the second prize of the National Competition organized by the National Taiwan Arts Center. In 2013 and 2016, she won the first prize at Taoyuan City Music Competition. Pei-Ying has made appearances with the Wu-Ling Philharmonic, the Voice of Spring Symphony Orchestra, and the Academy of Taiwan String. In March 2019, she made a joint recital at National Concert Hall Taipei, Taiwan.

Pei-Ying has participated in solo master classes given by violinist Oleh Krysa, Yair Kless, Yossif Ivanov, Nicolas Dautricourt, Nicolas Koeckert, Benny Kim, Lev Klychkov, Luiz Felipe Coelho, Geng-Yuan Zeng, Richard Lin, and Jing-Yi Wei. In 2017, she attended Isa International Music Academy in Wien with Prof. Dora Schwarzberg, and in 2018, she joined the Salzburg Mozarteum International Music Academy with Prof. Yair Kless.

Pei-Ying was born in 2001 in Taiwan, Taoyuan. She started learning violin at age 5 with professor Yan-Hua Wang and was accepted into music-talented class at Xi-Men Elementary School and later to music-talented class at Zhong-Xing Junior High School. In 2016, Pei-Ying was then recommended to Wu-Ling Senior High Music School where she studied under professor Han-Min Huang. Pei-Ying is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Music at Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln with Prof. Susanna Yoko Henkel.
