Biography

Born in 1999, she studies with Patrizia Tassini at the “Jacopo Tomadini” Conservatory in Udine.

She has participated in more National and International Competitions, among which we highlight: the First Prize at the 7th International Music Competition in Musile di Piave, the Absolute First Prize at the International Music Competition in Trento, the First Prize at the 8th International Music Competition in Musile di Piave for the chamber music category (harp and piano).
Virginia has also achieved the Absolute First Prize at the National Music Competition in Palmanova (UD) both solo and in duo, the Absolute First Prize at the the 21 International Music Competition in Cortemilia (Cuneo).
Winner of the First Prize in the National Music Competition in Piove di Sacco, Virginia was invited to perform in concert on Lago Di Garda for an event dedicated to young talents.
Subsequently she was awarded the Absolute First Prize at the 12 Nazional Music Competition “Lodovico Agostino” (Ferrara), the Absolute First Prize at the 12 International Music Competition “Luigi Cerritelli” in Salò (Brescia), the Absolute First Prize at the 1st National Music Competition “Scuole in musica” in Verona.
Finally the First Prize at the 9th International Music Competition in Slovenia, the Absolute First Prize at the 11th International Music Competition in Treviso and the First Prize at the 5th International Music Competition “Diapason d’oro” in Pordenone.
Virginia won the First Prize at the 5th International Competition of Slovene Harp Association in Velenje, the Absolute First Prize at the XII International Competition of Harp “M.Tournier”.
The Absolute First Prize at the X International Competition “Città di Massa”.

She was selected, along with 24 other young harpists from around the world, to participate in the Focus on Youth, a competition that will take place as part of the World Harp Congress in Cardiff in 2021.

She has performed both as a soloist and in chamber ensemble in important halls such has Teatro La Fenice at the Sale Appolinee (Venice, Italy), at the Castello Sforzesco for RAI International (Milan, Italy) and at the Harmonie-Sale (Bamberg, Germany).

Virginia was chosen as harpist of the orchestra “Kodály Zoltán World Youth Orchestra” of Debrecen (Hungary) in the context of “Young Musicians’ Summer Accademy”, directed by Vásáry Tamás with which she performed in tour in July 2019.
