Biography
Ervino Rieger started his musical activities in 2014, when he gave his first solo recital at Tereza Verzeri Hall in Santo Ângelo, Brazil.
Ervino was 1st prize winner at the Botucatu’s Symphony Orchestra and GRU Symphony Orchestra young solists competitions, the SINOS/FIMUCA Competition and the WPTA Portugal competition, among other prizes.
He was one of the seven brazilian pianists selected for the 1-week course with Maria João Pires, at the Vermelhos Cultural Center.
He has already worked with conductor as Ligia Amadio, Martin Garcia, Diego Pacheco and Silvio Viegas at the Porto Alegre's Symphony Orchestra, GRU Symphony and Montevideo Philharmonic.
Ervino got his bachelor’s degree with Dr. Ney Fialkow at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, and now is having classes with the pianist Eduardo Monteiro.
