Biography

Oleg Khudyakov was born in 1994 in the city of Sarov. He began to study music been 6 years old in art school in the class of the teacher Voinova Olga. In 2008 he entered the Central Music School at the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory in the class of the Professor, Honored Artist of Russia, Valery Piasecki. In 2018 he graduated from Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory, class of the Professor, People’s artist of Russia, Sergey Dorenski. Nowadays he is a graduate student in Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory, class of the professor, Honored artist of Russia, Nina Kogan. Since 2019 he is studying at the Musik – Akademie in Basel (Switzerland) in the of Professor Claudio Martinez Mehner.
   Oleg is a winner of international and national competitions such as International competition for young musicians (Bucharest, Romania, 2004, 2nd prize), international competition named after S. Rachmaninov (Darmstadt, Germany, 2008, 2nd prize, audience award and prize for the best performance of Rachmaninov's works), international Competition “Step to Mastery” (St. Petersburg, 2007, III. Prize), international pianist competition named after Rachmaninov (Tambov, 2012, 1st prize, audience award and prize for the best performance of Rachmaninov's works), international pianist competition named after Rachmaninov (Bonn, Germany, 2013, 1st Prize), International Competition “Russian Seasons” (Yekaterinburg, 2015, 1st Prize), International Piano Competition “Mania” (Podgorica, Montenegro, 2015, 3rd Prize), International PI Tchaikovsky Competition (Moscow, 2015, title “Best Concertmaster” in the “Violin” nomination), International Piano Competition (Almaty, Kazakhstan, 2015, III. Prize), International Piano Competition in memory of Vera Lothar-Shevchenko (Yekaterinburg, 2016, 1st Prize), International NTD Piano Competition (New York, 2016, III. Prize), International Competition "Piano Open" (Berlin, Germany, 2017, II. Prize), IX. S.Savshinsky International Competition (St. Petersburg, 2018, Grand Prix, received a special prize: performance with orchestra under the direction of Maestro Fabio Mastrangelo), International Piano Competition "De Lagny Sur Marne" (Paris, France, 2018, 2nd prize).
   Oleg took part in the International Festival “New Names”, the Festival of Romantic Music for Young Musicians “Virtuoso”, the 8th International Music Festival “Stars of Baikal” and the International Music Festival “Faces of Contemporary Pianism”. In addition, Oleg constantly performs in the halls of the Moscow Conservatory, the Moscow International House of Music and other concert venues in Moscow and takes part in concerts of the "Vladimir Spivakov International Charity Fund".
   Oleg also took part in the "Stars at the Rhine" music festival in Basel, Switzerland, (2017, 2019) and in the concerts of the Volksinfonie und Coopsinfonie in Basel, Switzerland, (2017). In December 2018, Oleg performed with the Romanian National Orchestra as part of the AMG concert program to replace Radu Lupu in Basel. He constantly travels to the cities of Russia, the USA, Italy, Spain, France, Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, Romania, China and other countries.
Since 2017, Oleg Khudyakov has constantly performed in a duet with the famous violinist Daniil Kogan.
