Arsenii Zotochev

Biography

Born in 1989 in Ulyanovsk, to a musical family. From the age of eight, he began studying music, the first piano instrument. At the age of 22, he began mastering double bass at the St. N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov in the class of Honoured Artist of Russia Alexander Shilo. After graduating from high school, he entered the St. Petersburg Conservatory, from which he graduated in 2021. Laureate of the following competitions: International competition named after V.I. Shera (2019), International String Instrument Competition in St. Petersburg (2019), International St. A. Glazunov (2019), All-Russian contest "Young virtuosos of Russia" (2020). At the moment, he is an artist of the Chapel Orchestra of St. Petersburg and the Chamber Musical Theatre.
