Yerassyl Khamit

Biography

The violinist Yerassyl Khamit was born in 29/09/1999 in Almaty,Kazakhstan and grew up in St. Petersburg. His violin training began in 2006 in St. Petersburg at the Secondary Special Music School of the St.Petersburg State Conservatory named after N.A.Rimsky-Korsakov with Larisa Baranova.Then he continued his study in the Central Musical School of the Moscow State Conservatory with Professor Sergey Kravchenko from 2013-2018. In 2018 Yerassyl enrolled at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg in the class of Professor Pierre Amoyal.Presently living in Vienna and continued his violin studies at the J. Haydn Conservatory with Professor Anna Kandinsky.

Yerassyl Khamit has been awarded top prizes in many prestigious,international competitions, including Vivat-Talant,Mravinsky competition(St.Petersburg,Russia), Astana Violin Competition in Kazakhstan,CMS Moscow Competition.

As a soloist he played with symphonic orchestras,such as: State Academic Symphony Orchestra,Beloselski-Beloserski orchestra,State Symphony Orchestra "Classics”,Warsaw Chamber Orchestra.

Participant of master classes with famous Professors such as Maxim Vengerov,Alexandre Brussilovski,Mari Tampere-Bezrodny,Maxim Fedotov,Dmitry Sitkovetsky,Grigory Kalinovsky,Nikolaj Znaider,Migaela Martin,Tatiana Samouil. 

He performed many times in in the Great Hall, The Chamber Hall, The Rachmaninoff Hall of the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory,St.Petersburg Philarmonia Grand Hall,Wiener Saal in Salzburg.
