Born in Kielce on 14th May 1991. He started playing the violin at the age of seven under Wojciech Zdyb at the Ludomir Różycki Primary and Secondary State School of Music in Kielce. In September 2004, Maciej started to study with Prof. Marcin Baranowski at the Ludomir Różycki Primary and Secondary State Music School in Kielce. He graduated from the Feliks Nowowiejski Music Academy in Bydgoszcz in 2015 (Masterʼs degree in violin performance). In 2015, he joined the International Menuhin Music Academy (IMMA) and was a student of Maxim Vengerov, Oleg Kaskiv and Ivan Vukčević. Since 2016, he has also been playing the viola. In 2020, Maciej started his Masterʼs studies in viola performance at the Karol Lipinski Music Academy in Wrocław under Zbigniew Czarnota and Artur Rozmysłowicz.

Maciej has performed at many prestigious festivals all over the world, including Gstaad Menuhin Festival, Pietrasanta in Concerto, Crans-Montana Classics in Switzerland, Le Printemps du Violon in Paris, Ohrid Music Festival, Harrogate Music Festival, Krystyna Jamroz International Music Festival in Busko-Zdrój (Poland). He performed as a soloist and chamber player in many great halls, including Victoria Hall in Geneva, KKL Luzern Concert Hall, Musikverein in Vienna, Grand Theatre–National Opera, Ignacy Jan Paderewski Pomeranian Philharmonic Hall in Bydgoszcz. He gave concerts in many countries, such as Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Chile, China, Czech Republic, England, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Macedonia, Peru, Switzerland and Ukraine.

In April 2009, he won the 1th Prize at the 4th All-Polish Competition for Young Musicians in Jasło, Poland. In May 2010, he received the 2nd Prize at the 1st All-Polish Festival in Kielce, Poland. In April 2011, he won the 2th Prize at the 21st Young Musician International Competition “Citta di Barletta” in Italy, and in May 2012, he took the 2nd Prize at the 4th European Music Competition w Philadelphia in Italy.
Maciej Jaron plays on Wojciech Topaʼs viola from 2017.
