Biography

Haruna Shinoyama, was born in 1994. Studied with Prof. Gerard Poulet and Prof. Tomoko Kato in Japan. After graduating from Toho Gakuen Music High School, entered Toho Gakuen School of Music (Toho Gakuen College Music Department) in 2012. Presently studying with Prof. Pierre Amoyal at Mozarteum University. Kawaguchiko Seminar with Prof. Oleh Krysa, Kronberg Academy with Prof. Igor Ozim etc. Concerts as a soloist and as a member of the “Beija-flor String Quartet” fixed in Mozarteum in the countries such as Japan, Brazil, Taiwan, Canada and Europe. In the Festival such as Salzburger Festspiele and Mozartwoche. 

As a Quartet, joined in the children’s and youth program at the Salzburg Festival in 2021 for the 100 anniversary. The program calls “schräg/strich”, directed by Oorkaan from Amsterdam. 

Since 2019,  joining in the Camerata Salzburg as a substitute player. 

 


She received "Paul Roczek Award 2016" as the outstanding violin student of Mozarteum.

Osaka International Music Competition 1st prize.

Rumanian International Music Competition String 1st prize.

First Prize at the 2015 Zhuhai international Mozart Competition for young musicians. 

Special Prize "Swabian Chamber Music” at the 2016 International Violin Competition Leopold Mozart Augsburg.  

Second Prize at the 2017 Concorso „Ruggiero Ricci“ in Salzburg. 

Second Prize, Audience Award and special Prize at the 2018 Debussy Competition in Mozarteum International Summer Academy.
