Biography

Ruslan Turuntayev (Kazakhstan)

Student of University of Music Lausanne and a student of the Moscow Conservatory (class of Janine Jansen and Graf Mourja). For many years he studied with Professor Irina Bochkova, Vladimir Reider.
Winner of the VIII International Tchaikovsky Youth Competition, Vietnam International Violin and Chamber Music Competition and «Debut Concert at the Elbphilharmonie», laureate of the Postaccini International Competition in Fermo, the Yankelevich International Violin Competition. Has performed in concert halls in Kazakhstan, Russia, Mexico, Germany, Switzerland, France ,Italy, Romania, Czech Republic, Israel, China, Vietnam, Malaysia.

He has performed at the Berlin Philharmonic, the halls of the Moscow, St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Omsk, Astana, Tashkent, Beijing, Hanoi Philharmonics, the Mexico City Philharmonic, the Zaryadye State Concert Hall, the Radio Hall in Romania. As a soloist, he performed with the Russian National Orchestra, the State Symphony Svetlanov Orchestra, the Hanoi Symphony Orchestra, the Beijing Youth Symphony Orchestra, the Moscow State Symphony Orchestra for Children and Youth, the New Russia State Symphony Orchestra, the Taurida International Orchestra, the La Primavera Chamber Orchestra, the Novosibirsk Philharmonic Orchestra, the Omsk Academic Phillharmonic Orchestra, The Symphony Orchestra of the State Academic Philharmonic of Astana, the Sun Symphony Orchestra, the Symphony Orchestra of the State Conservatory of Uzbekistan, the Eurasian Symphony Orchestra, the San Luis Potosi Symphony Orchestra, the Moscow Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra etc.

Ruslan attended master courses of Ivry Gitlis, Shmuel Ashkenasi, Viktor Tretiakov, Viktor Danchenko, Pavel Vernikov, Boris Kuschnir, Kirill Troussov, Chaim Taub, Alena Baeva, Nicholas Koekert as well as the State Quartet of Borodin, Kopelman Quartet and Quartetto di Cremona, playing as a part of the Tchaikovsky Youth Quartet.
