Biography
Yukimi Okuda is a Japanese Pianist. Born in Kyoto prefecture. At present studying with Prof.Ilja Scheps in the Konzertexamen at Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln and studying with Prof.Dina Yoffe in Madrid Univercity of Arts.She is Studying also chamber music Prof. Anthony Spiri ,Prof.Harald Schoneweg. She graduated from Toho Gakuen Music High School and Toho Gakuen School of Music.
She has participated as a soloist at many music festivals including international Naleczow Festival(Poland), international talent music master course festival (Italy).Kyoto France music academy (Japan),Kirishima international music festival(Japan).To date,She has already performed in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, Poland and Asia.Among her achievements in the competitions are 1st prize at the 12th Japan Performer Competition(High School Student Category),Gold Prize at the 10th Novi International Music Competition.3rd prize at The 10th Romanian International Music Competition.2nd Prize at the Vienna international Music Competition (VIAF)in 2019.Awarded the 55th Freshman Concert Audition and received a Jury Special Award. 3rd prize at the 29th Le Sprendor Music Competition. Final concert award in the European Summer Academy (Germany) in 2014, The 5th Toho Gakuen Piano Competition, 3rd prize, The 3rd Toho Gakuen Piano Concerto Competition, 2nd prize.She performed Saint-Saëns Piano Concerto no.2 at the winning concert as a soloist.The 5th San Hart Ensemble Audition Excellence Award, She took a lesson of Mr. Mikhail Voskresensky, Michel Beroff, Jacques Rouvier, Shigeo Neriki, Choong-Mo Kang, Bernd Goetzke, Claire Desert, Pascal Devoyon, Rikako Murata,Hisako Kawamura and Dina Yoffe.She has studied under Kazuyo Baba,Hisako Motomura, Keiko Takeuchi, Ikuyo Nakamichi, Nobuhito Nakai, and chamber music under Tomoko Kato, Kazuoki Fujii ,Tsugio Tokunaga and Cristian Beldi.She has appeared in Toho Gakuen graduation concert, Japan piano tuners association concert, lunchtime concert recommended by President Mr. Tokihiko Umetsu, 243th Japan Foundation Lunchtime concert, Kawai Omotesando, Yamaha Ginza salon concert,Bechstein Young Professional in 2019(Germany)series ,Clavier Nacht concert(Germany)etc.She recorded “At home wedding vol.2”CD by TIAA MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT.
