Grigory Filipchenko

Biography
Grigory Filipchenko is the winner of special scholarship grant of Vladimir Spivakov’s Foundation and Denis Matsuev's Foundation "New names", a regular participant in the projects of the St. Petersburg House of music, subscription concerts of Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory and project "Moscow International Summer Gnessins School. Also he is scholarship winner of Moscow Government.
He constantly participates in programs of St. Petersburg Music House. In 2019 received the Gazprom Bank award.
Grigory has participated in master classes with Sergey Roldugin, Jens Peter Maintz, Claudio Bohorquez, Raphael Wallfisch, Martti Rousi, Dmitri Feigin, Eleonora Testelez, Leonid Gorokhov, Alexander Chaushian, Nonna Natsvlishvili and Stefan Popov. For many years he trained under Prof. of Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory Dmitry Miller.
Born in Moscow on August 11, 1998, Grigory has studied at Gnessins’ Special Music School in Moscow under Lyudmila Kruzhkova. In 2016 he started his Bachelor Degree with People’s Artist of USSR Professor Natalia Shakhovskaya at the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory, then with Eugene Rumyantsev. Currently Grigory studies under Honored Artist of Russia Boris Andrianov.
Grigory is the winner of many international musical competition including "The night in Madrid" in Spain, the Sviridov 6th International Competition, the International music competition for young musicians in Moscow and "Musical spring at Jacobi's House". He is a twice Grand Prix winner of the musical competition "Musical Diamond". The XII Savahinsky International Music Competition, Kazan Conservatory Music Competition.
In 2015 Grigory has got the main prize of the project "The stringers 2015" and got the invitation of Branimir Slokar Academy in Slovenia to participate in master courses and performing of solo concerts with orchestra. In 2016 he worked as jury member at the Musical competition-festival "Cello-Bass" in Moscow.
Grigory Filipchenko has been a guest soloist with orchestras such as the Symphony orchestra of Bolshoi Theatre of Russia, Real Filharmonía de Galicia, Ljubljana Symphony, "Gnessins Virtuosi", philharmonic orchestras of Moscow, St. Petersburg, Smolensk, Nizhny Novgorod, Yaroslavl and others. He has been an artist at many prominent music festivals, including Vladimir Spivakov’s Moscow Meets Friends, "New names" Foundation festival, "January Evenings" and "Virtuoso" in Moscow, «Peregrinos Musicales» in Spain.
Grigory tours in Russia and abroad, gives his solo concerts in the best halls of Moscow.
