Fiona Tsang began her cello studies at the age of 6. She is currently studying with Professor Richard Weiss at the Cleveland Institute of Music Young Artist Program. Fiona has received numerous awards from the Pacific Musical Society Competition, US International Music Competition, Mahler Cello Competition, and etc. Her chamber ensembles have received awards from many competitions, including the American Prize, North International Music Competition, and International Music Competition Opus 2021. Fiona has served as cello principal for the CODA Honor Symphony Orchestra, El Camino Youth Symphony, and Bay Area Youth Music Society Orchestra. Fiona is extremely passionate about sharing music with the community, and she has received the President’s Volunteer Service Award for seven years in a row.
