Biography

Autobiography


 


Hasanli Sura Rufat was born on November 22, 2009 in the city of Baku. At the end of 2014, she began to take violin lessons from Fatima Idiatulina, an honored teacher ,a professor at the Uzeyir Hajibayli Music Academy. At the age of 5, Sura Rufat successfully passed the entrance exams to Fatima Idiatulina's class and entered the Bulbul Music School. Her first performance was at the age of 6 at the Yarat Art Center.


At the age of 7, she won her first prize at the international Testene Art competition.


At the age of 8, she was named a laureate of the republican competition dedicated to the 95th anniversary of Heydar Aliyev.


In the same year she became the first laureate of the international competition named after Vaja Chachava in Tbilisi (Georgia).


At the age of 8, she became a laureate of the IX International "Stars of the Future" competition.


In October 2018, she won the 1st place in the international competition "Hope 2018".


 


 Has successfully participated in the following international festivals:


International New Way Festival in 2019 (Hannover and Celle),


International Harmony Festival in 2019 (Georgia, Tbilisi)


International Festival dedicated to the memory of Uzeyir Hajibeyov (Baku 2019)


When she was 9 years old (in 2019) she graduated from the Azerbaijan Academic State Philharmonic


held her first solo concert "Goodbye 4th grade" in the chamber and organ music hall. In 2018 and 2019, she was awarded the title of the best violinist of the year by the Azerbaijani volunteer community for two years in a row (Golden Kids Awards).


Grumiaux (formerly "Bravo") at the XII International Violin Competition in Brussels in 2020 was the second place winner.


In 2020, she repeatedly performed on the stage of the Azerbaijan State Academic Philharmonic with the Azerbaijan State Chamber Orchestra named after Gara Garayev.


France Music Competition 2020 in France (2nd place)


In 2020, she won first place in the competition "Nouvelles Etoiles" and was invited to perform in Paris  with the chamber orchestra "Bright Bows" from Novosibirsk, and without taking part in the first round, she moved to the second round in the competition "Inter Corder".


In 2020, she won first place in the First International Competition of Performers Academic Folk and Jazz Music.


She often performs at events in various concert halls in Baku.
