Victoria Markova

Biography

Victoria  Markova was born 2004 in Sofia,Bulgaria. She started to study harp at the age of 10 at The National School of Music "Lyubomir Pipkov"-Sofia,Bulgaria in the harp class of PhD Kohar Andonyan.

Victoria participate in many Class Productions , Charity Festivals and Concerts as well as the Opening Concert of "Arpissima" 2019 in Sofia, Bulgaria, the Closing concert of prof. S.Klincharova's master class at Saint Mary's Church Paris, France, also she is performing as a soloist with the Chamber Orchestra ‘’Orpheus’’ and with Youth Philharmonic Orchestra ‘’Sofia''.

She attended master classes with Emanuela Degli Esposti , Ion Ivan-Ronce ,Victor Hartobanu and Anna Loro.

Her first success with harp is at the 20th International Competition "Petar Konjovic" in Belgrade,Serbia(2015).

Victoria has won more prizes and awards, including:

-          Laureate First Prize – 4th Edition Nouvelles Etoiles 2021 International Online Music Competition Paris, France (2021)

-          Laureate I degree (Golden diploma), Special award - "Award of the audience" Instrumental Competition "GOLDEN STRINGS"2021,V.Tarnovo,Bulgaria

-          Grand Prix – XV International Competition for young performers of classical music instruments Pernik,Bulgaria(2021);

-          First Prize with Honorable Mention - First Music Competition Online 2020,Opus Artis-Paris, France;

-          Second Prize – 9th International Harp Contest Suoni d’Arpa in Saluzzo,Italy (2019);

-          Honorable mention - Concertino Praga (2019);  

-          First Prize- and Absolute Winner in the nomination HARP 2018 - IX International Music Competition 2018 Belgrade,Serbia;

-           Golden Medal – 4th International Competition of  the Harpist Association of Slovenia in Velenje,Slovenia ,2016;
