Biography
Laura LLozi, born in Tirana is a violinist who also comes from a family of artists.
Education
She began studying violin when she was only 5 years old in the class of B. Gashi and in 2006 (at the age of 6) she started school at the Artistic Lyceum in Tirana from which she graduated in 2018 (18 years old) with maximum results in the class of V. Tego and while also studying with her father Arben Llozi.
As of 2018 she studies at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna (MDW) in the class of Stefan Kamilarov and as of 2019 she also studies with Maestro Massimo Quarta.
Artistic Activity
With a repertoire that extends from Baroque music to the XXI century music Laura has performed in a large number of concerts as a soloist,in chamber music and orchestras in Albania, Italy, France, Germany, Austria, Serbia, Macedonia, Portugal, The Netherlands, Bulgaria etc.
She has been invited to several Festivals and has won many awards in various competitions.
Solo with orchestra
Since 2009 Laura has performed in a great number of concerts accompanied by different orchestras and ensembles such as “The Symphonic Orchestra of the Albanian National Radio and Television”, “Tirana Philharmonic Orchestra”, “Camerata Balcanica” (Belgrade), “Albanian Chamber Orchestra”, “Artistic Liceum’s Teacher Orchestra”, “Klan TV Orchestra” with conductors such as Facundo Agudin, G. Akoka, B. Haemhouts, C. A. Grigore, O. Baronello, G. Kraja etc .
Solo and/or with piano accompaniment
At the age of 7 (2007) Laura performs her first concert in the Hall of the “National Theater of Opera and Ballet” in Tirana and since then she has performed in a large number of concerts in Albania and abroad.
Festivals and Artistical Seasons
Laura has been invited to international festivals like the Biennale "Nights of Classical Music" 2015, 2019 and 2021. In 2015 she performed the world premiere of 3 duos for violins from the Spanish composer P. Perreiro, in the presence of the composer.

“Wonderfeel” festival 2019 in The Netherlands.
“Chamber Fest Durres” 2019 and 2021 in Albania. “Multicultural Festival BERAT” 2019 in Albania. “Falesie in Musica” festival 2020 in Italy
Laura has been invited to perform in the artistic season of The National Theater of Opera and Ballet and Albanian National Radio and Television.
Chamber Music and Orchestras
Since 2018 Laura is the first violin of sextet "ArtLink Balkan Young Virtuosi" with which she has performed several concerts.
After auditioning she is the youngest member of Albanian Youth Orchestra (ORSH) since 2012, Tirana Philharmonic Orchestra(Albania) since 2014 as well as a member of the European Spirit of Youth Orchestra 2016 (ESYO, Italy) and Orchestre des Jeunes de la Méditerranée 2017 (OJM, France) with which she has performed in many under conductors such as Aldo Ceccato, Pablo Heras-Casado, G. Corti, J.M. Ferran, I. Coretti , O. Baronello , Q. Hindley etc.
She is also a member of Camerata Balcanica since 2019.
From 2017 until her graduation she was the Concertmaster of “Artistic Liceum’s Orchestra”.
Awards and Competitions
In 2018, she is the winner of the instrument category and also the big price in the competition “The Virtuos” (also known as “Prodiges”) in Tirana.
And in 2019, she is the winner of the first price at competition “Vasco Abadjiev” in Sofia, Bulgaria
Laura is also a laureate of several prizes in various competitions like "Këngët e Tokës ", "Pjetër Gaci", "Tirana Talent", "ARS Kosova".
She was also a finalist in the Albanian Young Musicians (Eurovision Young Musicians).
In 2019 Laura was awarded with “Gratitude of Tirana County” by the Council Chairman Mr. Aldrin Dalipi.

Laura has performed in major halls in Albania and abroad like; Hall of the National Theatre of Opera and Ballet , Big Hall of the University of Arts, Hall of the Ministry of Culture (T. T. Koço) , Hall of Albanian public Television, Tirana’s Amphitheater, Kolarac Concert Hall (Belgrade), Grand Théâtre de Provence (Aix-en-Provence), Lisbon’s City Hall (Lisbon), KOSMOS (Berlin), Fanny Hensel-Saal (Vienna), ‘Bulgaria’ hall (Sofia) etc.

Participant in the 2018 international “Youth for Peace” meeting in Berlin.
