Bochun Wang

Biography

Born in a music family in Shanghai, he has studied as a viola major in the middle school affiliated to Shanghai Conservatory of music since 2009. In 2019, he was recommended to graduate students of Shanghai Conservatory of music and studied Viola with Professor Sheng Li of Shanghai Conservatory of music. In September 2020, he went to the Royal Danish Conservatory of music for a one-year study exchange.

After studying the main course of Viola, I established a relationship with my classmates   Energico   String Quartet won the first place in the chamber music youth group of the first Schoenfeld International string competition in 2013. Since 2015, he has participated in the formation of two piano quartets, pantoum and transient. In 2019 and 2020, he has recorded and published CD album of Brahms and Schumann Piano Quartets and album of Beethoven's 250th birthday piano quartets.

In addition, he also composed music by himself and completed works such as the first symphony "expedition", "the second symphony" Overture ", chamber music, jazz tango" JATAN ". In 2018, he adapted and published Bartok's Romanian folk dance music for twelve Zhongti. In 2020 and 2021, he was commissioned by Shanghai People's radio to jointly create songs "go and see happiness together" and "song of Lighthouse" with the theme of poverty alleviation and the centennial of Party construction, which were broadcast on various platforms of SMG.
