Biography
Samuel Ribas Moreira (2006) started in the violin at the age of eight learning from a tutor at his church. Shortly, he started taking formal lessons from Mrs. Luiza Volpini, who taught him for three years. Later, he became a student at the Brasília Suzuki Center in Mr. Raphael Egidio’s studio, his current teacher.
At the age of thirteen he joined the Brasília University Youth Orchestra and, in the meantime, gratuated from eight books in the Suzuki Violin Method. Samuel has been playing recitals and concerts in cultural events and schools in several states in Brazil. He has participated in master classes with Dr. Fredi Gerling, Edward Kreitman, Ivan Quintana, Oscar Bohorquez, Pedro Oséias, Luiz Paulo Freire, Cármelo De Los Santos, among others.
