Japan, Tokyo Tokyo Violin
Aoi is former prizewinner of Osaka International Music Competition, Kobe International Music Competition and semi-finalist of Tibor Varga International Violin Competition in Switzerland. She has performed with The Geidai Philharmonia Orchestra Tokyo and Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra as a soloist and gave a performance at Miyazaki International Music Festival. As a chamber musician, Aoi has participated in the Ozawa International Chamber Music Academy, where she studied string quartet with Seiji Ozawa. She has taken several masterclasses with Pavel Vernikov, Pierre Amoyal, Michaela Martin, Leonidas Kavakos and more. She has been studied privately with Mami Teshigawara and Tsugio Tokunaga, and with Asako Urushihara, Masafumi Hori and Natsumi Tamai at the Tokyo University of the Arts. After completing the Bachelor degree at the Tokyo University of the Arts with honors, Aoi is currently studying with Prof. Latica Honda-Rosenberg at the Berlin University of the Arts in Berlin.
