Violinist in Municipal Symphony Orchestra of Sao Paulo (OSM)

Was born in Manaus - AM on December 1, 1996, (age 23),

Alexandre Pinatto moved to São Paulo with his family at the age of one where he lives until today.

His parents are deaf, so he was raised by his grandparents.

At the age of 5, influenced by his grandfather , who is a musician, he started taking music theory classes.

At the age of 6 he started to learn violin at the church.

In 2008, at the age of 11, he was accepted to study in EMESP (Sao Paulo State Music School), where he studied for eight years.

He has studied with great teachers like Cesar Miranda (Osesp), Florian Cristea (Osesp), Liliana Chiriac (Osm), Emmanuele Baldini (Spalla of Sao Paulo State Symphony Orchestra) and at the moment he is studying with the renowned Elisa Fukuda.

In 2012, at the age of 15, he joined the Sao Paulo State Youth Orchestra (OSJESP), taught by violinist, teacher and conductor Claudio Cruz.

In this period he was the (principal) second violin and then concertino of first violins.

He has taken masterclasses with “Quarteto Emerson” and works with some conductors like Frank Shipway, Diego Gúzman, Claudio Cruz, George Stelluto, Giancarlo Guerrero Vesko Askhenazy, João Carlos Martins, Eduardo Salazar, Marc Coppey, Michal Klauza, Arvo Volmer, Bruno Mantovani, Roberto Minczuk.

He was one of the winners of Ernani Machado Meyer Competition Youth Orchestra of São Paulo in 2017.

He has done some solos with some orchestras in Brazil.

In 2018 he was one of the finalists and winners from the first Thomastik Infeld Festpiele Brazil competition in Curitiba (PR).

Also in 2018, he was approved at the Osesp Music Academy to study with violinist and professor Emmanuele Baldini.

In 2019 he was approved to be a violinist member from Municipal Symphony Orchestra of Sao Paulo (OSM).

In 2019 he was a finalist from “Preludio”, a Classic TV PROGRAM COMPETITION in Brazil.

In 2020, he won the Young Soloists Eleazar de Carvalho competition.

In 2020, he was one of the winners from Young Guarulhos Orchestra competition playing Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto in D Major.
