Biography

The young, born in 1999 in Hanover Marta Gadzina is a talented young polish violinist. She started playing the violin at the age of six. A year later she won her first competition “Jugend Musiziert“ with the maximum number of points. While she was studying at the Institute for Early Musical Education for gifted children (VIFF), she was a student of Prof. Ina Kertscher and later Prof. Krzysztof Wegrzyn. She is a graduate of Prof. Antoni Cofalik's violin class at the Fryderyk Chopin State Music School II degree in Cracow, currently studying at the Ignacy Jan Paderewski Musikhochschule in Poznan in the violin class of Prof. dr. hab. Bartosz Bryła and dr Aleksandra Bryła. Marta has won numerous international competitions, such as “Talens of Europe”, 7 ° Concorso Internationale Giovani Musicisti Premio “Antonio Salieri”, 3rd Alfred Csammer Competition, 1st Vienna International Music Competition and is winner of the Grand Prix at the “Vivaldi 331 ". Marta Gadzina works with the artists of "Tanzkunst", as well as with the "Hans Lilie Foundation". In addition to her solo career, she gained experience as member of many orchestras and ensembles, such as "POM Lutoslawski Youth Orchestra", Lower Saxony Youth Symphony Orchestra, Kristiansand Symphony Orchestra, "Cube String Quartet" or the string orchestra "Arco Andare", where she performed the duties of concertmaster. She has also given concerts with conductors and artists such as Krzesimir Debski, Stanisław Krawczyński, Jerzy Maksymiuk and Nathalie Stutzmann. Her artistic account also includes a number of concert projects, world premieres of works by contemporary artists and international concert tours in countries such as France, Austria, Norway and Italy. In 2018 the Polish composer Wojciech Laskowski dedicated "Misterioso", a piece for violin and organ, to Marta, which both premiered in Germany the same year in August. For several years she and her parents have been forming the ensemble "Harmonia Classica" and is co- founder and concertmaster of PGO- String orchestra.
In 2019 she recorded her first CD with the "Fons Vitae String Quintet" and soloists of the Hanover State Opera, where she can be heard as first violinist, soloist, as well as chamber musician, including in her own arrangements.
