Biography
RAFAEL REGILIO
Born in Maringá - Brazil where Rafael started his musical journey through the violin at the age of 7. Studied for almost a decade with a Bulgarian violinist naturalized in Brazil, Evgueni Ratchev.
Graduated in music at the Londrina State University in 2016 and is now based in Hamburg - Germany since 2019, where he is a student at the Hamburger Konservatorium with Prof. Frauke Pohlmann.
He’s known for his sensibility and emphatic way of expressivity, what has grown up with the experience of playing together with different orchestras as the Londrina State University Symphony Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra “Soloists of Londrina”, Hamburger Camerata, Ochester der Generationen, Junge Norddeutsch Philharmonie, Junge Südwestdeustchen Philharmonie, Academic Orchestra Bravi, and many Festivals Orchestras in Brazil, several countries in South America and also in Europe, besides with masterclasses and courses with significant professors as Prof. Christiane Hutcap, Gustav Frielinghaus, Nikolas Koeckert, Prof. Tanja Becker-Bender, Prof. Carlo Johnson, Prof. Erik Schumann.
Since Rafael has arrived in Germany he has jumped into a very new music-life development in contact with new professors, students, and places that have being very exciting and full of discovery.
And obviously, this created an amazing backdrop for developing your sound, discovering new air, colours, and everything that can make your music better!
