Tracy Zhao

Biography

Tracy Zhao is an 11 years old violinist from Melbourne, Australia. She has been learning violin since the age of five, and she has been studying under Peter Wang since the age of seven. She has since studied and attended masterclasses from numerous artists, such as Mark Mogilevski (AU) and Joel Smirnoff (USA). As a budding violinist, she is active in music scenes and events, and has won numerous international and local competitions which includes:

2020 American Protégé International Piano & Strings Competition

2020 Sydney Eisteddfod Crowd Favourite Performance Winner

5th Singapore International Music Competition · Brilliant Talent Discovery Award

2019 Adelaide Eisteddfod (Category 12 and Under)

2018/2019 in the Royal South Street Eisteddfod (Category 11 and Under)

· First Place

When Tracy is not playing violin, she can be found drawing, reading books, or playing with her siblings.
