Lukas Neuhof was born in 2003, and grew up with his five siblings in Queck. Since the age of five he has taken cello lessons with Johannes Eisenmeier.
In 2013 and 2015, he won the highest score in the competition "Jugend musiziert" and was then allowed to participate five times in the "Internationalen Meisterkurs für hochbegabte junge Streicher (International Master Class for Highly Talented Young String Players)” in Goch on the Lower Rhine.
In May 2016, Lukas won 2nd prize at a national level in the violoncello solo category.
Since April 2017, Lukas has been a young student of Prof. Jan Ickert at the Musikhochschule (Academy of Music) Frankfurt.
In June 2019, Lukas won 2nd prize again in the violoncello solo category at the national "Jugend Musiziert" competition.
Master classes with Prof. Thomasz Strahl, Prof. Gotthard Popp and Prof. Josef Schwab complemented his artistic training.
Since the age of 14, Lukas has played a cello from the fund of the Deutsche Stiftung Musikleben.
