Shiraz Natanzon

Biography

Shiraz was born in Haifa Israel at 2006, started her violin studies at age 5 with Delia Jacob in Dunya Weizmann Conservatory in Haifa. At the age 10, she continued her study with Delia Jacob in a more intense level in Israel Conservatory of Music, Tel Aviv

Shiraz is a participant of Huberman program in Jerusalem Music center, for gifted musicians where she receives additional musical education for chamber music, orchestra, and masterclasses.

Shiraz received masterclasses from Meriam Fried, Paul Biss, Haim Taub, Yair Kless, Irina Svetlova, Mark Lakirovitch, Itzhak Rashkovsky, Nava Miloh, Alessandro Adriani, Gregory Kalinovsky.

Shiraz is a recipient of scholarship due to scholarship competition in Israel Conservatory of Music for year 2019, excellence schollarship in 2020, and Daniela Rabinovich foundation scholarship for 2021-2023.

During summer 2019 Shiraz participated in Cremona International Music Festival and String competition, there she was Honorably Mentioned in strings intermediate level for ages 13-18.

Shiraz is a first prize winner at “Grand Prize Virtuoso, London”, “Grand Prize Virtuoso, Bonn”, “Grand Prize Virtuoso, Salzburg” competition for 2021, Golden Classical Music Award, USA.

Shiraz is a recipient of AICF (America-Israel Cultural Foundation) grant for 2019-2020 and 2021-2022.
