Biography
Mirian Kvaliashvili, born in 1996, began his cello lessons at Evgeny Mikeladze Central Music School with Heinrich Bablumian and Nukri Bagrationi-Davitashvili. He continiued his stiudies at Tbilisi V. Sarajishvili State Conservatorie supervised by Emeritus Tamara Gabarashvili. In 2016, Kvaliashvili became the student of International Menuhin Music Academy where he studied in the class of Pablo de Naverán, being mentored by musical director of the Academy, Maxim Vengerov.
Mirian Kvaliashvili collaborated with many eminent artists, including Maxim Vengerov, Cecilia Bartoli, Liza Batiashvili, Gary Hoffmann, Baiba Skride, Valeriy Sokolov, Michael Guttman, Liana Gourdjia, and others. He also participated in various international festivals such as Gstaad Menuhin Festival, Tsinandali Festival, Le Mont Musical Festival, Crans Montana Classics, Festival international de Orquestas de Jóvenes, Pietrasanta in Concerto, Young Euro Classic, International Music Festival "Autumn Tbilisi".
Young cellist performed at prestigious concert halls in more then twenty countries, including Victoria Hall, Opéra de Monte-Carlo, KKL Luzern, Buenos Aires Kirchner Cultural Centre, Djansug Kakhidze Tbilisi Music Centre, Hercules Hall, Konzerthaus Berlin, Tbilisi State Conservatoire Grand Hall, and many others.
