Biography
Hi,
My name is Giordano Poggi. I was born in Lima, Peru on April 11, 2000. I am a violist student in the Superior Studies Section of the National University of Music in Lima, Peru. My viola professor is Rolando López. I started studying viola professionally when I was 18 years old and before, from the age of 9, I was self-taught in learning viola. I have integrated several orchestras and performed in viola recitals in Lima, Peru by the National University of Music. Also in 2019 I received a masterclass from the violist Roberto Díaz at the National University of Music. In 2020 I received a masterclass from the violist Kristine Bara from the D´addario Festival in its 1st Virtual Festival for Latin America.
