María Milagros Boso Galli borned in Salta, Argentina was awarded the first price at the competition “Artist of the Year 2019 Procultura” Salta, Argentina. She also received the Cultural Achievement Prize and was chosen as one of the “Ten Outstanding Young People from Argentina 2018” by JCI (Junior Chamber Institution) winning the same recognition at her State. She has regularly performed in several concerts as soloist and chamber music member, as well as orchestra member and along with choral ensembles since a very young age. Her recents perfomances include concerts at Mozarteum of Salzburg, Austria, at the CCK (Centro Cultural Kirchner) at Buenos Aires and the opening concert gala of the season of Camping Musical Bariloche and at the International Online Piano Festival of La Rioja. Among internationals festivals where she performed are the Livorno Music Festival, invited by Daniel Rivera to play at his Triubute to Liszt concert, and Brescia Talent Summer, Italy (2021) Mozarteum Internatinale Sommerakademie, Salzburg, Austria (2019, 2018), the 10th Paderewski Piano Academy, Bydgoszcz, Poland (2018), the IKIF (International Keyboard Institute and Festival) at NYC (2018, 2016) the Festival de Invierno Campos do Jordao, at Sao Paolo Brasil (2016); the NYU Summer Piano Intensive at New York, U.S.A (2015); Festival Mintz 2018 (Masterclass with Itamar Golan) the International Piano Festival, University of Florida, USA (2014); “II Festival Internacional de Piano Chopin”, Bolivia y el Encuentro Internacional de Música de Cámara Zicosur en Chile.
Milagros was awarded Winner of the 3rd National Piano Competition “Festival de Pianistas 2015” Buenos Aires, Argentina, Winner at the Bluegrass Young Artist Piano Ensemble Competition, 2013 Kentucky, U.S.A, Alternate Winner at the MTNA (Music Teachers National Association) Young Artist Piano State Competition, Ky, 2012 semifinalist at the 2nd Chopin National Competition 2015, Argentina, she received a “Recognition for Outstanding Achievement” at the auditions at the “Centro de Altos Estudios Musicales, Franz Liszt” Buenos Aires, Argentina.
She was also elected to compete at the 5th International Piano Competition “Jose Jacinto Cuevas” Yamaha, at Merida, Mexico,2016, and at the final stages of the III International Piano Competition Frederic Chopin, 2015 at Lima, Peru, organized by the “Naradowy Institut Fryderyka Chopina”. In 2017, she was selected to participate at the Teresa Carreno International Piano Competition held in Miami, USA and to compete at the finals of the 11th Adilia Alieva International Piano Competition at Annemasse, France and Geneve, Switzerland.
She was invited to perform with the Symphonic Orchestra of Salta in several occasions. Ms. Milagros developed as pianist of “Campbellsville University Symphonic Orchestra”, the “Salta Youth Symphonic Orchestra” Argentina, “Cesar Casas Academic Ensemble”, “Alberto Suti Orchestra”, and “Salta State Music School Orchestra”.Since 2008 she works as Accompanist and Rehearsal Pianist of Salta State Ballet and from 2010 she was promoted to Principal.
Milagros graduated from the Master of Music in Piano Performance at Campbellsville University (U.S) where she studied with Dr. Wesley Roberts. She earned her “Profesora Superior de Piano” degree at the age of 18 from the “Escuela Superior de Musica de la Provincia de Salta” (Salta State Superior Music School) as student of Arturo Botelli and continued her piano studies with Javier Anderlini and Manuel Massone at Buenos Aires. She also participated in several master classes and advanced courses of piano, Chamber music, Barroc music, Jazz improvisation, Contemporary music with renowned artists.
Since 2020 Milagros takes part at Pianistas Argentinos, a program of the National Ministry of Culture advocated to the interpretation of piano compositions and arrangements of Argentinian Folk And Tango Music. At the end of last year, she was selected by the Milan Conservatory “Giuseppe Verdi” to do the Master in Piano Performance di Secondo Livello.
