Biography
Ji-Eun Park won at six national competitions. She is Prizewinner at the Delia Steinberg Piano Competition in Madrid, Feurich Piano Competition in Vienna, North International Competition in Sweden, Rosario Marciano Piano Competition in Vienna and International Competition Grand Virtuoso in Paris.
Born in Busan, Korea, Ji-Eun Park began playing the piano at age three and attended Peniel Arts School in Busan. She completed her undergraduate studies at Busan National University with Ernő Fehér. At that time she made her Debut in Europe with Duna Chamber Orchester performing Mozart Piano Concerto in G major K.453.
Ji-Eun Park holds a Master’s Degree from the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich with distinction. She continued her postgraduate studies with Adrian Oetiker as DAAD scholarship holder. Since October 2020 she is studying Contemporary Music of Master’s Degree in Munich. She performed at the Gasteig, St. Markus Kirche in Munich, Theater Victoria in Madrid, Palais Ehrbar in Vienna, UdK in Berlin but also at numerous international festivals in Europe such as Talent music Festival in Brescia, Ticino Musica Festival in Lugano and Liszt Festival in Budapest. Ji-Eun Park has attended Masterclasses Richard Braun, Sheila Arnold, Jenő Jandó, Balázs Szokolay, Attila Némethy, Nicholas Roth, Paul Ostrovsky, and Deborah Moriarty.
Since 2021 she is scholarship holder of Live Music Now Munich e. V.
