ZIQI JIN

Biography

Born on Mar.17th 2010 in Shanghai, China, ZIQI JIN began receiving formal cello lessons when she was 7 years old. Her debut was in 2018 Italy Casalmaggiore International Music Festival. To her, it was a fantastic and successful experience and after that wonderful performance, playing the cello became a vital important part of her daily life.
She won many top prizes in some international music competitions, including:

First Prize of 2019 Beijing “Aiqin”International Cello Competition and performed in the Winners’ Gala Concert at Beijing Poly Theatre

First Prize of  Romania The 8th "SOUND OF MUSIC" ORADEA International Music Competition

First Prize and Exceptional Young Talent Speical Prize of 29th Bonn"Grand Prize Virtuoso" International Music Competition,has been invited to perform at Bonn Beethoven House

First Prize and Exceptional Young Talent Special Prize of 30th Saltzburg "Grand Prize Virtuoso" International Music Competition and has been invited to perform at  Saltzburg Mozarteum.

Gold Diploma and First Prize of International Musicians Competition”Music Symphony of St.Petersburg’ 

First Prize of the 4th French“Nouvelles Etoiles” International Music Competition

First Prize of 2021 Greek the"Muse" International Music Competition

First Prize and Judges' Best Performance Award of 2021 Vienna Virtuoso Music Competition

First Prize of 2021 Medici International Music Competition

Grand Prize of 2021 Rocky Mountain Classical Music Competition and has been invited to perform at  the Winners' Recital Award Ceremony in Toronto Canada.

First Prize of 2021 Melbourne International Piano and Strings Festival Competition

She is now studying at the Music Middle School Affiliated with Shanghai Conservatory of Music under the tutelage of Prof. Dahai Liu.
