Biography
Johanna Müller is a multiple award-winning musician from Germany. Born in 1997 in Halle (Saale) she was a student of Prof. Anne-Kathrin Lindig at the “Musikgymnasium Schloss Belvedere Weimar“ and has been studying with Prof. Nora Chastain at the UdK in Berlin since 2017. She also received valuable musical impulses from Igor Ozim, Kolja Blacher, Eberhard Feltz and Ana Chumachenco, among others.
She has won several first prizes at international solo and chamber music competitions. Her most recent success is the 3rd prize at the international Ysaÿe Competition 2021.
She has performed many times with various German orchestras and she is a scholarship holder of the Hans und Eugenia Jütting Foundations, the Paul-Hindemith-Foundation in Berlin and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation.
Johanna is playing a violin from J.B. Viullaume, Paris 1862.
