Biography
Born in Russia into a musical family. Started playing the violin at the age of six studying with his parents in Moscow. At the age of 13, Emil was offered a full scholarship at the Purcell school of music (England) where he received violin lessons from Dr. Felix Andrievsky. In 2006, he continued his development at the Paris Conservatoire (CNSMDP) and eventually moved on to obtain his bachelor and master degrees at Conservatorium Maastricht (Netherlands) with maestro Boris Belkin.
Won prizes such as: 5th edition of international competition "Villa de Llanes"; "Violines por la Paz" (Spain); Canetti competition (France); "PodiumPrijs" at Grachtenfestival competition (Netherlands) among others.
Acted as soloist with orchestras such as: Sinfonica de Galicia (Spain); London Soloists orchestra (England); Latvian National orchestra (Latvia) among others.
Emil currently plays a 1709 Claude Pierray violin.
